Skogstad Hotel in 2009 was nominated by World Travel Awards as Norway's Leading Ski Resort Hotel!
The story of Skogstad Hotel began in 1905 as a combination of farm, general store, inn and guest house.
At the time, Hemsedal was a stopover between the east and west, and the guest house was open only in summer and in Easter week.
The hotel has adapted to the flow of tourists and has facilities to satisfy the most. The staff at the hotel has taken care of the homely and informal atmosphere of the bus station time.
